DMCA Policy
ReelsGrab does not host any media content. All files are served directly from Instagram's servers. For content hosted on Instagram, please file a DMCA notice directly with Meta Platforms, Inc.
1. No Hosting Statement
ReelsGrab ("the Service") does not host, store, cache, or serve any media files including videos, photographs, audio files, or any other content from Instagram or any other platform.
The Service operates solely as a link resolver and URL processing tool. When a user submits an Instagram URL, the Service communicates with Instagram's publicly accessible servers to retrieve a direct media URL, which is then returned to the user's browser.
All media files are served directly from Instagram's own content delivery infrastructure (CDN). ReelsGrab does not intermediate, proxy, or cache this content in any way.
Because we do not host any third-party content, we cannot remove specific files from our servers — there are no files to remove. However, we take all copyright concerns seriously and will respond accordingly.
2. User Responsibility
Users of ReelsGrab are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including copyright law, and Instagram's Terms of Service.
By using ReelsGrab, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content you are downloading, or have explicit permission from the rights holder to download it.
- You will not use downloaded content for commercial purposes without the rights holder's consent.
- You will not re-upload, redistribute, or publish downloaded content without proper attribution and permission.
- You understand that downloading copyrighted content without permission may violate local and international copyright laws.
- You will not use ReelsGrab to facilitate copyright infringement at scale.
ReelsGrab disclaims all liability for any copyright infringement committed by users of the Service. Use of our tool for infringing purposes is strictly prohibited.
3. DMCA Takedown Procedure
If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe that content accessible through ReelsGrab infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.
Please note: Because ReelsGrab does not host content, we are unable to remove media files from Instagram's servers. A proper DMCA notice for hosted content should be directed to Instagram/Meta Platforms, Inc.
However, if you believe our tool is being used to facilitate infringement of your specific copyrighted work, you may submit a notice to us and we will evaluate whether to restrict access to specific URLs.
A valid DMCA notice must include:
- Your full legal name and contact information (email, phone number, mailing address)
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The specific Instagram URL(s) being used to access the allegedly infringing content
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Incomplete notices will not be processed. Knowingly submitting a false DMCA claim may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that content or URL access was restricted due to a mistaken or misidentified DMCA claim, you may submit a counter-notification.
A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your full legal name, address, phone number, and email address
- Identification of the specific content or URL that was restricted
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the content was restricted as a result of mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will notify the original complainant and may restore access to the restricted content within 10–14 business days, unless the complainant files a court action.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, ReelsGrab maintains a policy of terminating or restricting the access of repeat infringers.
Users who repeatedly submit URLs associated with infringing content, or who use the Service in ways that consistently violate intellectual property rights, may be blocked from using the Service.
We reserve the right to restrict access at our sole discretion.
6. Contact for DMCA Notices
All DMCA notices and counter-notifications should be sent to our designated DMCA agent:
- DMCA Agent: Legal Team, ReelsGrab
- Email: dmca@reelsgrab.com
- Subject line: "DMCA Notice — [Your Name]"
- Response time: We aim to acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and process valid notices within 5 business days.
For copyright infringement of hosted content on Instagram itself, please contact Meta Platforms, Inc. directly through their official copyright reporting tools at facebook.com/help/contact/copyright.
